We held our Cat Call AGM today (11th May), a yearly meeting to review our work and status as a registered UK charity (reg 1032117). Some highlights from the year;
- 130 Cats passed through our Lost and Found Cat Register
- We received and responded to 734 phone calls for advice and help, this was up 14.5% on the previous year
- Cat Call helped 120 Cats in need.
The Trustees thanked everyone who makes Cat Call and its work possible including, our charity shop team of volunteers led by shop Manger Lyn, everyone who donates, our lady knitters, volunteers who help at our fund raising, Vet practices 1066 in Battle road and Badgers Oak in Northiam, all the organisations (who are listed on our web home page https://catcall.org.uk/ ) and individuals who have Cat Call green collecting pots.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the meeting and came up with some good ideas and contribution.
In her summing up Chair Women Brenda said “I am pleased, Cat Call has worked hard this past year true to its founding objectives. As an organisation it has a good platform from which to continue caring for Cats in need and operating the area Lost and Found Cat Register 365 days of the year. We are legal, transparent and sustainable”
